RIverisland A/W 2013 Lookbook
Within this shoot I created a lookbook that incapsulated the essence of the Riverisland brand.
The girl that i wanted to capture was urban yet relateable. I chose key trends from the Fall 2013 season some of which included :90's Edge, Sportsluxe, Tartan,Grunge Revial, and the Oversized Appeal. I used natural light to add more of an organic aspect to the shoot.
Sports Luxe
In this shot I focused on conveying a girl that dropped her bag on the street.
She is a metropolitan girl that has embraced the sports luxe trend of A/W 2013.All of the items that appear to have fallen out of her bag echo the sports luxe trend.
The look is tied together via the blue suede heels and the blue leather gym bag. in addition to this, the way the eye travels not only adds interest but a sense of relatiabilty since everyone has dropped their bag numerous times.
Punk Revival
With this shot I focused on the punk revival going on in London while I was there. I incorporated leather, taran, a deconstructed beanie, and studs because I feel as those these elements spoke to the essence of punk. The setup of the frame, the use of natural light, the shadows cast off the products, and the location all make the frame work. These elements working together create the perfect image.
London Fashion Week A/W '13
I was featured in the London Fashion Week Daily consecutively in the sunday and monday issues.
In addition to this I was also featured on talter.com in a "Best of Streetwear" article.
Falabella A/W 2013
I assisted the lead stylist Katie Mossman in steaming, tailoring and prepping the garments for the shoot.
